Интересы
sports. I like most sports... which includes football, baseball, soccer, frisbee, ping pong, volleyball... except I prefer playing 'nice' games rather than very competitive games. Of course by 'nice' games I still mean people playing to win... completely non-competitive makes the games a bit duller; I just don't like the fierce competitiveness where people get angry if they lose. For me, playing is winning... and winning is... um... an added bonus. A noted exception to liking sports: I usually don't like playing basketball. I'm not good at it and usually the people wanting to play are a bit too competitive for my tastes (though people equally as competitive in other sports don't bother me). Friendly basketball and soccer are fun though....
Любимая музыка
Music.... It's always been a large part of my life. Some of my favorite songs/pieces [song title (composer/group)]: Stay Awhile (Bells), Dreams (Cranberries), Wishing I Was There (Natalie Imbruglia), What Can I Do (Corrs), Break Your Heart (Natalie Merchant), Brown Eyed Girl (Van Morrison), Come What May (Moulin Rouge), Symphony No. 5 (Tchaikovsky), Rhapsody Op. 79 No. 1 (Brahms), String Quintet in C (Schubert), Piano Quintet in E flat (Schumann), Piano Quintet in f (Brahms), Octet (Mendelssohn).
Любимые фильмы
I enjoy watching movies, but so does everyone else. I guess I enjoy the little things in life. I like just doing little crazy things (like running around asking people if they know the special phone number 888... do YOU know the number 888 ? it's a satanic number, hiiii.... ), and little non-crazy things like sitting around and talking with people I like. I don't know what else....
Любимые книги
I feel obligated to put this here since I've spent a lot of my time (that I could otherwise have done something else with) reading. But I really don't read that much anymore. In direct contradiction to my previous statement, I've just spent the last week doing almost nothing but reading (summer vacation being the 'now' that I'm talking about, not the 'now' that you're reading this). But generally I don't have the time to (translation: "I don't value as highly" I guess) read. I used to read a lot of fantasy and mystery. Recently I've found one series of sci-fi books I like (I used to refuse to read any sci-fi at all), the books about Miles Vorkosigan by Lois McMaster Bujold (first book of the series "Cordelia's Honor" or "Shards of Honor"). Update: I am currently reading 3 books: "I am a Strange Loop", "The Audacity of Hope", and "The Colossal Book of Mathematics"
Любимые игры
Um... needless to say? I dunno. In any case I like them. Perhaps what I meant was more puzzles... but I like other games too. As for puzzles, I like pretty much any type of puzzle. Mind puzzles are the best of course [like QODs =)] but I enjoy crosswords, jigsaw puzzles, tangle puzzles (those try-to-get-the-ring-off-of-the-rest-of-the-junk type puzzles) and everything else... including of course math puzzles. Though I'm not in mathematics (per se) I still enjoy competition-math type stuff (not _real_ math like... er... representation theory... ewww... bad memories from Math5) though I don't do much anymore. And of course I like calculus type stuff (which is much more directly related to my studies), but those aren't games exactly. As for other games... I like some board games (e.g. Stratego), most card games (most recent favorite being bridge), some computer games (starcraft/warcraft, nintendo emulators [though the real thing is much better... and yes I do still have an original NES]), and game games

While I fail at stuff regularly, I’ll never forget the deepest cycle of failure I’ve been in to date. As the Internet bubble popped exploded, company after company that I was an investor in failed. As I grappled with this, I felt like I had been run over by a truck. After I got up, a steamroller came and flattened me. As I was peeling myself off the ground, the steamroller backed up and smushed me again. Then, I realized I was lying on top of a hole and the top fell in and I tumbled down to the bottom. As I was looking up at the sky, some jerk came into view, poured gasoline onto me, and then dropped a flaming stick on top of me. By the middle of 2001, I realized that ever day had been worse than the previous day. I no longer got up in the morning and said “ok – today will be better than yesterday”; instead I resolved myself that every day would be worse, until it eventually got better. tahn it happened I hung in there, kept getting up every day and doing my best, working hard to make informed and intelligent decisions, and helping all of the companies I was an investor in however I could. A few more failed, but a nice number survived and ultimately thrived. Things eventually got better. And I learned a lot. In my world view, the best leaders understand that failure is an integral part of things. The cliche “fail fast” is one of my favorites. When things aren’t working, deal with it. Another is the famous line from Atlas Shrugged “Nobody stays here by faking reality in any manner whatever.” Denying that failure is part of our existence is akin to faking reality. While I accept “the experience of failure” feels “negative / crappy / depressing / hard / sucky”, I don’t believe that “failure is bad.” Deal with it, learn from it, pick yourself up, and try again.
О себе
I was born in a very beautiful island called bandung. On that island, when I was born, my parents give my name bujang. In my land may be classified as beautiful, and I admire the beauty until now. Beauty is not just what can be seen by the eyes and what can be touched by hand. Beauty also appeared in the form of ideas and experience life. All the beauty that I do not want to close by myself. but I want to show and share with you in the form of this letter. You surely know that this journey of life is a form of story. Every step that we cross with our feet leave impressions-impressions, which is always passed. However, the impression will be lost when the wind came up to breathe gone with the wind. This letter is the place to perpetuate the impression at once-step impressions of life to you. The journey which is a story of life that is not beautiful when you are alone. as you know people on the substance referred to as homo socius? No man is an island ...! I tried to think of things I do in my "spare time" and realized I don't have very much of it. Or rather, I use up my time somehow to the point where I never have spare time. But of course a big part of that 'using up of time' involves having fun, it's just hard to document. In any case, a few things that I enjoy:
